Paris-Brest-Paris Randonneur 2023: Get ready
It is once again from Rambouillet that all the brave participants will set off towards the Breton roads.
You will be thousands to try this adventure which consists of joining Brest and then returning, that is to say more of 1200 km, in 90 hours maximum.
We are doing everything we can to make this quadrennial event a celebration of cycle tourism:
discovery of the host city, presence of an event village with presentation of the sites control, animations and all useful services.
The check of the bikes, the day before departure, is cancelled. However, checks will be made on departure then throughout the route. Seeing and being seen is essential for your safety and that of other road users or spectators.
Always with the aim of improving your safety on the road, the course has experienced modifications, in particular between Loudéac and Brest, in order to avoid, as far as possible, the crossing of groups of cyclists.
Emphasis will also be placed on respecting:
* respect for volunteers,
* compliance with the highway code,
* respect of the itinerary…
Whatever your own goal, we want you to pass your test in the performing in the best possible conditions. You can count on nearly 2,500 volunteers in the departure/arrival site and the host cities and control cities. Without forgetting all the people who will be on the side of the road.
The Audax Club Parisien will be proud of you and will live up to your result.
Looking forward to meeting you from August 19 to 24, 2023…
